Cost of the exam : Cost of giving exam is 920 rs per test.
Validity of score : 2 years.
Date of test : It is conducted on every alternate Sundays in major cities of India like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune etc.
Cooling period after an attempt : There Is no cooling period for this exam . One can give this exam infinite number of times. All you need is to give 920 bucks.
Scholarship code: If you've scheduled an exam on some particular date and in case you failed to attend the exam then you'll get a scholarship code of worth 630 that can be redeemed in next exams.
Some companies hiring through eLitmus : Amazon, Adobe, Mcafee, Accenture, Mindtree, Sasken, Sopra, Optimus Information, HARMAN, National Instruments etc.
Eligblity : There is no eligibility criteria as such to take up the pH test. Cuurently, only candidates having/pursuing a degree in BE/B.Tech, MCA, ME/M.Tech or M.Sc(CS/IT) will benefit from the pH test.
Documents to carry at the centre : You will have to bring your:
a) Xth, XIIth, Graduation/Post graduation certificates.
All Mark sheets till date; X, XII, Graduation/Post Graduation mark sheets as applicable.(Final year students need to carry the marks sheets till date).
c) Government issued Photo identity card (like Driving license, passport, Voter Id card etc)
d) Admit Card with photo pasted.
Mode of exam : Its pen paper based offline paper.
Duration of exam : 2hours.
Structure of the test : It comprises of 3 section :
a) Verbal (20 questions)
Quant (20 questions)
c) Problem Solving (20 questions)
Weightage of each question : 10 marks per question.
Negative marking : There is no negative marking till the 1/4th the number of questions attempted. After that each wrong question will draw negative marking of 50% . Example : If you've attempted 16 questions with 6 questions wrong and 10 correct questions. Then 1/4(total) i.e. 4 questions will not have any negative marking while remaining 2 questions will have negative marking of 50%. i.e. 2*5 = -10 marks. And your score will be 10*10(score for correct answers) – 2*5(50% negative for wrong questions) = 90 marks. This method is valid for each section individually.
Where to prepare? : Elitmus exam's level is at par with CAT level. So any CAT material is good for elitmus. Arun sharma for CAT is good for quant.
